Well found out it was in fact delivered to an Auto Auction in Chicago. I live in North Carolina so its no where close. The bad thing is that it is has been there since last thursday and people are allowed to test cars at those places. I have talked to my dealer and Ford and let them know this is unacceptable and I'm livid.
It's funny that everyone I've spoken to has said wow I've never heard of that happening before.
How did this even happen?

Thanks, amr19. That worked!!

In looking over the the older and the newer stickers, the only thing that changed was the date on the bottom center margin. Originally, it was 11/17/2021. Now it's 12/14/2021. The blend date of 11/24/21 remains the same. Not quite shure why my ST would be "In Production" since 11/26 as per my last e-mail from Ford.
The date in the center margin is a print date and ours has changes numerous times when we look it up.

My ST still shows "In Production" - 11/26/21, nothing checked under "Built" or "Shipped". "Delivery" states TBD. But under Vehicle Details: Up until this past weekend I had an estimated delivery date of 12/14/21. But now that the tracker site is back up, everything is the same, except now it's giving me an estimated delivery date of 12/31/21.

Also, I used to be able to get a copy of my window sticker. Now, whenever I click on the option to View the Window Sticker, a window opens up and states: "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle."

- Very strange. Anyone else seeing such things?
It is odd that it had given you a estimated delivery date while still being in production. We never received a estimated delivery window until it was built. I'm wondering if maybe something was found during the QC inspections

Now I'm getting a little concerned. Just checked the website again, and the Estimated Delivery went from 12/31/22 to 1/20/22 overnight. Original date was 12/14/21. Time to shake the tree with the Dealer and Ford Rep, I think.

Mine has been in Production since 11/23 and had an Est. Delivery of 12/09. On 12/10 it changed to 1/10/22. I am starting to wonder if they are waiting on some type of part or something. Is there still a delay in chips maybe?

Just a thought, The bad storm that just decimated many towns and states might have something to do with the changes. There's no telling how much damage has been done to railroad tracks and other infrastructure ford relies on for manufacturing. Also, the government could be re-allocating assets to help with the recovery efforts and get supplies to those areas to the people that need help.

When I asked about mine the order information that the dealer could see said “Chip Delay”
I had an Est Delivery of 12/31/21 and overnight it switched to 1/10/22. I’m just hoping these chips come in and this thing shows up early

What kind of options are you looking at?

Ordered 11/13 with priority code 10. Still no build date. Everything but moon roof and roof racks.

Well, at this point unfortunately I don't have one, assuming I want to stay with an Explorer ST. I spoke with my dealer, and accordnig to them, they really can't tell me specifically what the delay is, except that the vehicle was "Sent Offsite" during production. If there is a specific component that is holding things up, and it relates to one of the vehicle options I selected for example, it's too late to make any changes to this vehicle. So, I just have to wait and hope that whatever it is that has caused two delivery estimate revisions already comes in without any additional delays..

Starting to get a little anxious myself. I ended up switching dealerships after my original August order never got a build date. Now I have a VIN and production started on 12/8… from what I’m reading here it’s probably not going to make the 12/24 estimated delivery.

My ST has arrived! Dealer received it tonight. They will be prepping and ceramic coating before I pick it up so I don't get it until Mon/Tues but it's here! Tracking site wasn't working for me most of the day and it never did show up on any of the carrier sites so it was a total surprise when they called. Had to drive through the lot to see it quick and she's a beauty. Can't wait to get her home. :)

I asked whether my dealer could recommend anyone to do Ceramic Coating. Their response was to offer me fabric protection. o_O

That is ridiculous! I got lucky that my dealer performs this themselves (with interior protection included). With living in ND and getting my car in the winter, I figured it was a good idea. Black is hard to keep clean so maybe this will help!

amr19 Jack57 EOMFD anybody have any updates? Mine is also “sent offsite” after a blend date of 12/8. Tracking website still shows 12/24 as an ETA, although doubtful. I’m assuming chip related but I’m just curious if anyone has heard exactly what the holdup is…

Received a notification from the dealer yesterday. It is waiting transport from the rail head to the dealer 30 mins away. It should be there withing a few days.
The shipping update never changed from Illinois until it arrived in Spokane. Still on schedule in the estimate delivery window

I've been uncharacteristically silent lately. Been a crazy 2 weeks but I am actually sitting at the dealer now waiting to pickup my car. It sat in the rail yard for way longer than I would have liked, but was delivered to the dealer on 12/14, which was the very last day of the ford estimated delivery window. Overall it took about 30 days from my blend date to delivery here on the east coast.

Mine was supposed to arrive at the dealer today, then it was pushed to the 23rd, and this morning it was changed to the 27th. Dealer confirmed its sitting at Ramp 3 in Birmingham. I'm about to drive out there and get it lol

Hey at least your dealer knows where it is. Mine was built then delivered to the wrong location. I found out that it was built in Chicago, loaded on a rail down to South Carolina and then put back on a truck and driven back to an Auto Auction in Chicago. Mind you I live in NC LOL. They said they had a truck going to get it and with the shorthand on drivers, I get it. They can't/won't even tell me if its been picked up or anything. I even called the Ford Marketing office last night who handles that stuff and they said they could only see when it was initially supposed to be delivered. Hopefully we'll get our cars soon!!
