Your Vehicle looks fantastic. I know you have H&R springs and the same size tires I am running. For some dang reason you sure look like you have a much lower stance. ? Jim
Could just be the angle of the pics or something.

Oh so you tri
I made the bracket at work from 3/16” flat stock. I ran the wire into the dash just in front of the bracket and fished it out to the steering column then ran a fish tape from inside the cubby, then pulled the wire back through. I was surprised at how easy everything fed into place. I couldn’t care less about drilling the dash panel or having to use plastic screws to hold the bracket...I just wanted it to work and 3M VHB tape alone wasn’t cutting it.
So you tried the 3M VHB tape already? I was thinking of making something similar but a bigger base for the tape. I am a little on the eh part on drilling into the dash, but on the other hand I wouldn’t be removing the phone mount ever.
Did you use plastic screws then to mount to the dash?

I didn’t want the base too big. I tried VHB first with activator and let it sit for a day with some weight on it...still didn’t stay with my giant phone. I left the VHB and added 2 plastic screws and it hasn’t moved since. I’m like you...I have zero plans to remove the mount so I did a permanent install. I also added a small hole to pass the wire through so it’s not exposed anywhere. This style plastic screw will hold damn ear anything.

These are still 305’s. 315’s flat didn’t exist when I swapped them out but hopefully will next time. I had zero issues with the Lexani’s. They were a little louder and noticeably more narrow but they balanced and drove just fine.

Where would I find that type of screw? I never realized plastic screws were a thing, but why not.

Only took 9 weeks to get a pair of mirror caps off backorder and through the paint shop...but I love the look. 6E00991B-2800-4E4E-A85C-999F2C0A0DAF.jpeg EA285B0C-A0A3-4E47-B015-B163D1B24932.jpeg
