Panoramic Roof Issue

Has anyone had trouble like this with the panoramic roof. This happen just today. It seems as if the leading edge of the sunshade has come out on both sides at the very beginning of the side guide track, and the shade is now folded upward because both sides are no longer being guided.

It’s the clips. They are known to break. Need to replace the whole shade though as they don’t just sell the clips. There’s a writeup running around here somewhere.

Has anyone actually taken a picture of the "clips" that break. Seems like there is a lot of talk about them but no photos. The sunshades appear to be like the old roll-up sunshades used in houses where there is a spring-loaded drum that the fabric wraps around. I was thinking that the sagging fabric happens when something breaks in the spring-loaded part of the shade and it loses its tension.

Noticed today that my Lincoln MKX has the fabric out of one side, but it is not sagging like the Explorers do. It still works as it should though.
