Good afternoon everyone,
Brian from Wilmington, NC just bought my first Explorer ST Monday. I’ve owned multiple Fords over the years and decided to sell my 21 Mustang GT and replace it with the 25 Explorer ST Black on Black. Can’t wait to do a couple upgrades on it.

Thanks for adding me. Last Saturday I placed my order for a Ruby Red '27 Ford Explorer ST w/ the Sinister Package. I am looking forward to learning all I can about this new vehciles before I take delivery in a few months. I currently own a Vapor Blue '24 Ford Escape Active and a Blue Ember '25 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. After the excitement of driving the DH, I was looking for a daily driver with as much enjoyment. From what I've read, the ST will fill the void.

Congrats o your order!!

My last two Mustangs were SHELBY GTE"s; loved them tremendously. However, at my age and being a extremely lucky 2006 car accident survivor, getting in/out of an already lower Mustang (Shelby drops them 1.5 inches) became almost impossible. So yes, for me the ST checked off several boxes on my performance vehicle list. Modification wise, the only upgrades are the K & N Racing Filter and a Resonator Delete MRT H-Pipe exhaust swap out.

Howdy from Aggieland, Texas! I recently purchased a 2026 ST - I've been an Explorer owner since 2002 and this is the best one yet. We are also the proud original owners of a 2019 Mustang GT/CS with only 25,000 miles. Happy to be here!

Welcome Aboard!!

You left me curious, how many, what types and which years of Explorers are you talking about!?! I came into the Explorer and ST world in 2025; 4 previous Mustangs and 1 outrageous '64 1/2 F100.

Thank you!

We have owned over the years - a 2002 Explorer XLT, 2012 XLT, 2017 Limited and now the 2026 ST. I have also owned a 2005 Mustang GT Premium, a 1993 Thunderbird Super Coupe and a 1966 Mustang with 289 V8. Guess I'm a Ford guy.

@rcj0618 :

The next question is which ones do you still have? LOL!! My fleet is all gone now; the last one was a 2017 SHELBY GTE (345HP I-4 Ecoboost) that became almost impossible to get in/out of. Hense, my Red 2025 ST.

I thoroughly love the ST's performance and there is a world of difference for entrance/exit. Planning a road trip in the Fall, only has approx 3,300 miles on it now.
