Has anyone heard of the HKS vacuum line filter distorting? I had it plumbed and zipped in near the drivers side valve cover, kindof floating away from the valve cover. I figured it was plenty far from the header/turbo but apparently it couldn’t handle the vacuum line clamps with the heat. It was definitely restrictive and difficult to blow through. Noticed my BOV has been much quieter since I put it on 6mo ago but figured i just got used to the sound. I haven’t even had this installed for the hot days of summer yet so this happened over fall/winter. Pretty annoyed to see this and the filters are either back ordered or 30$. I just replaced it with a brass fitting.

Just installed mine a few weeks ago, so I haven't seen it happen, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

It wasn’t noticeable in the line i had to pull it out to see it. If you used the little spring clamps on it, it might be a good idea to just leave them off. Up to you of course
