I had a few thoughts. First, the Marsh Gray Explorer above definitely does not look gray to me, notice it is next to an older gray explorer for comparison. To me, the Marsh Gray appears to have a subtle green tint, maybe others will disagree:) Second, in regards to the ford "delete button", I wonder, and this is just a theory, if ford removes options that were problematic, so they do not need to continuously fix stuff?

Exactly what I thought with the sunroof to glass panel change.

Ford has always decontented vehicle as they cycle through their current generations. This is nothing new and it is a profit driver for Ford. It only benefits them, not the comsumer.

Which is pretty funny since usually its best to skip the first batch.

This time around, the last ones from the first batch ended up being the one's to buy for all the potential options

Finally, my 2026 Ford Explorer ST is in production! One odd observation, even my window sticker is missing the ST badge, are they trying to save money on red ink? LOL

There are some decent numbers of 2026s on dealer lots. My 2020 was totalled so I was in a hurry to get into a new ST. Thankfully they found one without the sunroof but i had to accept it being black instead of carbonized gray. After 3 weeks of driving now, I love it. The interior and tech are welcome improvements!

My 2026 Explorer was finally delivered! Although there are many choices on dealer lots, no local dealers have exactly what I wanted.

My Explorer ST has been in production since 12/17. I assume there's an option that I ordered that's out of stock. My sticker has the description, Explorer ST. Any ideas, what gives? 1767588744198.png

For my Explorer, I noticed it was "in production" for multiple weeks. I do not think that In Production means exactly what we may think.

This is the definition of production based on Ford 's tracking data.

Just curious, are there any updates with your order? If you watch any of the youtube videos from Long McArthur, he does recommend not to add accessories to your order that can be easily purchased later. It is possible one of the accessories you choose is out of stock and that will hold up your order. I was considering adding the keypad to my explorer, but I am not sure how useful that will be since the doors unlock as long as your key bob is close to your Explorer and I am not sure if you can even lock your key fob in your Explorer, I would love to hear what you think after using it. Back in the day I used to just lock my keys in my car, then use the keypad to unlock it (On my old Ford).

My ST has been shipped. I posted this somewhere else on this site, using my phone. I misinterpreted the date that they put on the build. It actually didn't start till January 7th. I will let you know how it works. I have often wondered what happens if you leave the FOB in the vehicle.

Also, it is my understanding that the phone feature PAAK, the FOB is not needed. I guess I will be next week.
