Read that somewhere and was wondering if its a possibility?
Something like trackhawk/durango ones..
Just a curious thought as a new ST owner who also has a newer 5.0 f150.

I’d say a super super super super small chance of that ever happening.

I figured so since the explorer already does well with the ecoboost.
I thought maybe a slight chance with ford saying they are getting heavier into racing.

We can always hope. Ford would have to jump through a lot of hoops to do it though. Would have to completely redesign the platform (Coyote won’t fit in the engine bay), go through EPA testing, and engineer everything else to work with the new engine.

Zero chance. It will not physically fit the engine bay.

Back in June of 19 when the 6th gen explorers first started to show up on dealer lots, I went and measured under the hood between the shock towers and a coyote is about 2 inches too wide. The coyote is a wide engine and barely fits a mustang, only because ford had no choice but too make sure it fit in one. You would stand a better chance getting a godzilla to fit, they are roughly the same size externally as a 351W.
