Anyone have an issue with the radio not staying in the off position after shutting car off?

What year? On the 2020-24 the radio stays off, but on 2025+ it comes back on automatically.

This issue was just recently discussed after being brought up by another member maybe a week or two ago. It appears on 2025 models the default is for the audio to come on when the vehicle is started no matter what you have selected on shutdown. Someone suggested that it would stay off IF you turned the audio off after the engine was shut down...it doesn't. I've just gotten in the habit of turning the volume way down before turning the ST off because it will remember that setting, it's annoying. Meanwhile I still can't get it to read text messages from my Pixel 9 Pro phone and or get people to hear me when answering a call.

Thanks for your reply, I was beginning to think I was losing my mind! Seems like an odd thing to change on a vehicle, every car I’ve ever driven the radio stays off if you turn it off,

You're welcome, the car is a lot of fun in general but has some odd quirks compared to every other vehicle I've ever owned since 1974.

I agree, just went through the ST driving experience in Asheville, it’s a blast, learned a lot about the car
