Eibachs Installed on my ‘25

Hey Y’all

Got some time to install the Eibach springs on my ST. Install was a breeze thanks for HSF install video!

looks really good. Do you like the stance? Does it sit level or maintain a slight forward rake?

Looks really nice! How’s the ride quality so far? I’m about to lower my Explorer too, but I’m stuck between Eibach vs H&R springs.

Eibachs will sit very close to level, and lower the car the most compared to other lowering springs.

From what I’ve heard, Eibachs ride the best.

I have the set sitting in my garage to get installed, can't wait!

It has been my experience with eibachs that they have a butter smooth ride, but in no way floaty and in every case help a lot with squat and dive. Iv'e installed 4 sets on 3 diff brands and all seem to settle more than expected, to be clear that isn't a bad thing in most cases.

Is that the case here? did you get what you thought or after a month do you find its lower than truly expected? Also what are the wheel measurements and tire size? Pls and thx.

eidt - Also, about alignment, specifically camber, can you drop a 2025 on eibachs and still have enough oem adjustment to keep it within oem spec? or are other suspension components needed (eg, high offset balljoints and the like)

Any competent alignment shop should be able to bring alignment to OE specs with the Eibachs.

Have to replace the struts and been wavering on which springs to go with since i'll be in there. You may have sold me...though I was moving towards the E's. Had a couple sets in the past that I was always happy with. Nice color too!

Every previous eibach install has been on sport sedans or hot hatches (VW, Honda, Scoob), so there is a fairly low tolerance before reasonable tire saving, alignment adherent type actions are best implemented. I'm still learning what is "excessive" for this platform. If you know about eibach, you know about the raceline springs, the red ones. On a 2001 Prelude, prokit? (black springs) great! Raceline? (red springs) . . . . . naw dawg, I'll take my car . . . .

-What type of vehicle is this? An suv. Volkswagens, Hondas, and Subarus that traditionally get modified are typically small sporty 2 or 4 door vehicles. Pretty straightforward man. One is an SUV the other is Prelude... one of these is not like the other....

-If you don't want to scrub an expensive set of tires, additional alignment products are needed, like high offset ball joints or camber plates. You could of just asked, but you weren't gonna do that were ya?

-excessive /ĭk-sĕs′ĭv/ - Exceeding a normal, usual, reasonable, or proper limit. As I already stated, this is my first Ford and first SUV, as such, I am not yet familiar with what constitutes excessive when dropping an Explorer. Thus, I provided a real world example of what any real car guy would recognize as excessive, ie, the ride quality of Racelines is shit and should only be used on the track. Additionally, keeping the car even vaguely in oe measurements is costly, inconvenient and for the average user, excessive.
