    Interior creaks and rattles

Was the issue you were having popping and cracking noises around the sunshade area, especially when it's hotter out?

That's it, that's exactly what they did to mine.

    Interior creaks and rattles

No, unfortunately it doesn’t make a difference if the sunshades are up or not. It seems to come from the area in/around where the sunshade is stored when it is rolled down.

    Interior creaks and rattles

There is a Ford service bulletin concerning the drivers seat shifting and making popping noises. I can’t find it right now, but I had found it on this forum or a different one in the past. Basically the fix is a couple of rubber hose chunks attached to a metal bar under the seat and held on with...

    Interior creaks and rattles

It's been awhile, so I thought I would check back in on this one to see if anyone has tried anything new with the backdoor noises. I have taken the doors apart several times this summer and I have foam stuffed everywhere around the sunshade and I still get clicking noises out of both. It just...

How is it going since you have put these fixes in? I ordered all of the stuff off of Amazon, so I might take a shot at it this weekend if it is going well for you. My creaks and pops are pretty much as loud as ever back there lately!

    Interior creaks and rattles

I would say overall the build quality seems to be good, the only issues I have had are the rear door noises and the drivers seat noise. The technology and performance are great, for sure though Ford does need to work on interior quality. I purchased this model for the engine/power, which is...

ST SUV Experience - Asheville - 5/26-5/27 - Write Up

Thanks for the write-up. I found it right before my wife and came to Asheville, our drive day was yesterday. It makes for a long day, but it was a blast!

Agreed, I have the pano roof and haven't noticed any noise there. The noise I hear seems to come from the rear doors, right where the sunshade is. I was just in Asheville for the ST SUV Experience and our vehicle for the day made the same noises, it was a 2020 ST. It also made the same chair...

    Interior creaks and rattles

Funny you mention it, I did have a rattle in my seatbelt area in my 2015 Explorer, but not in my 2021. I ended up taking it apart and shoving some foam in there. I took one of my back doors apart again this weekend and added more foam in any spot plastic touched plastic, especially where the...

    Interior creaks and rattles

This sounds like as good of a plan as anything. If it works, I would take the Amazon links. Good luck with engine problems!

    Interior creaks and rattles

I must have spoke too soon, I noticed some of the creaking has returned to the rear doors today. Not near as bad as before, but still noticeable, but way less often. To me it still seems in the sunshade area. Maybe paper/felt washers would work better then the neoprene ones I used, maybe I...

    Interior creaks and rattles

I will see how it goes, I don't have high hopes. I have never heard of replacing a seat track, that does seem like a stretch to me that would fix it. It feels like the issue is just below the leather somewhere, so not all that far down.
