    Red door letters

In addition to the UPR letters, TufSkinz has started making inserts for the Explorer rocker panels and they come in colors beyond red. https://www.tufskinz.com/collections/ford-explorer-2020-2023-aftermarket-accessories/products/exp001-rocker-panel-ford-explorer They’re also just peel and stick...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

First, sorry to see what the dealer did to your vehicle. Hopefully they will make it right. Second, whose billet lift pads did you use? Seems like there are a number of people manufacturing them but mainly for GM and other manufacturers but nothing specific to the Explorer. I’m guessing that...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

i think we all know what Ford would do and it isn’t in the vehicle owner’s favor. Although my dealer still hasn’t gotten the parts in or is prioritizing fixing Police vehicles as there were a number of various jurisdiction’s vehicles cued up in the lot.

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Agreed and will do it soon. Just want to take a deep breath and do some research to find a good alignment shop.

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Thanks. That was what the proposed fabrication was going to be and what they claimed had been changed on the production model, an elongation of the strut bolt hole on each side. However, it never came to that. We talked further and they asked if I had gotten it aligned after installing the...

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Sounds like my “run away” instinct was accurate. So the only fabrication they were doing was the story of what needed to be done. Thanks! Anyone know a decent alignment shop in the KC area?

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Thanks to everyone who’s responded. I spoke with the service manager this morning and there was an earlier miscommunication about what/where the tech was having an issue. Turns out the rear is fine and they know it can be adjusted back into spec. The issue is with the front camber on the...

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Thanks for the ideas. Hadn’t thought about it but the sway bar could be the culprit.

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

That’s what worries me. They say they don’t see anything else damaged but it took a lot of force to bend that part. After sending the link, the dealer says the alignment guy has 30 years of experience. So I would assume (yes, I know what happens when one assumes) that they know what they are...

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

Didn’t want to start a new thread for a common question/issue, so I’ll add onto this one. Had the ST find a rather nasty hole in the pavement which ended up collapsing part of the Steeda adjustable rear toe link on the passenger side. Got a replacement part from Steeda and had the dealer...

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Kind of figured you didn’t go into this blind but better safe than sorry. Wish the ST had as sturdy a rear end as the Raptor but they are two different beasts. Look forward to seeing your progress on getting most out of the ST platform.

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Good to see you over here after all the great tuning you’ve done for the Raptor EcoBoost. Just note that the weakest link on the ST is the differential support. Not sure if your test bed vehicle came with a three bolt or four bolt mount but regardless you may want to check the rear bolt(s) to...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Just found the other two threads where this is being discussed and where my earlier question was asked and answered. So thanks for putting up with duplicate questions. Hope that the differential is what you were expecting it to be and it is plug and play. Look forward to hearing about the...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Thanks. So any Idea on if this will also require additional modifications (I’m wondering specifically about the traction control system) to address the change in the differential or is it just a simple swap?

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Interesting news. While you didn’t show it in the picture, I’m assuming it has the same rear cover as the ST does.
