Well, called Ford Accessories yesterday for the bi-weekly follow-up. Seems the order was cancelled last week and my Ford points and credit card charge was reversed. Not a peep from anyone at Ford, not even an email, that the order was cancelled. They told me to order it from the dealer...

Cool info. When it happened to mine (bushing broke), Ford replaced the entire rear subframe. Told dealer not to replace the bushing only. And the wanted the rear subframe back for analysis. That was a much higher cost repair. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

Yep, the last gen was based on the Taurus. Back in 2009, there were several articles about the Taurus being purpose built to withstand impacts for safety (recall the Crown Vic rear impacts on interstates, thus big trunk). Gotta think the newest gen Explorer would be better. I've not seen any...

I really really like my ST. However, for my 2021, my pains are the front windows that keep losing their programming for auto up/down, the sunroof rattle at 40F temps, and the rear subframe/diff issue. These are enough to question my continued ownership. Maybe these are addressed in the 2024...
