No, those wheel guys do awesome work. I had one fixed about a year ago for $100. Looked brand new when he was done.

I would have stood my ground too on that one. I had a 2020 with no problems. I have a 2023 with minimal problems. Only problem was Ford tanked the stereo with a bad over the air update they wouldn't admit at the time, service bulletin came out later. Had that whole screen replaced, and shut off...

That's no joke. Quality has went in the tank. Maybe they need to hire people that actually know what they are doing, and care. Ford's warranty costs have soared the last few years.

Ford sent out a bad update that tanked mine too. I couldn't update to new software version etc. Really stupid on Ford's part. I went round and round with Detroit and the IT Dept. Hats off to you for stepping up so fast. Shipping companies sometimes beat this stuff up. If you haven't already, you might look at 275 lb double wall boxes for heavy shipments. Those boxes can take a beating and still hold up. Little more money, but could save you a lot in the end.

If you do go with loctite. Go with the blue for low torque and just use a drop or 2 which is plenty.

Yeah that's happened to me few times both on my 2020 and 2023. I just clear the message and forget about it. I've never worried about it.

You can do it without FORScan. It's pretty quick to do it. Just google how to turn off seat belt chime on Ford Explorer, and you'll find the sequence to follow. Last time I did it I had to do it twice to hold that setting.

I'd get a mobile paint guy to fix that. They can fix the paint part of it for $100. I've had it done a couple times over the years on different vehicles. You'll never know it happened.

That's what happened to mine too. They replaced the APIM and all was good. My dealer had to order it, and it came in 2 days from Memphis. They had lots of them in stock. I strongly suggest after they replace it to disable automatic updates from Ford in your settings.
