Regarding the 737 max crashes, it was AOA sensor failures feeding erroneous data to MCAS. MCAS worked appropriately , but with bad data due to a inadequate and unsafe design of not having failure detection and recovery for that sensor. Ultimately a technology failure started the chain reaction...

I have a J&L catch can on my ST. I love how it is a purpose designed kit with the proper hose lengths, fittings, and mounting kit for the ST. It certainly does its job well judging from the oil i've drained from it that did not get into the intake tract.

heads up with Forscan and also most tunes you can get can disable the auto stop/start. Unless you have a 2025 and don’t want to wait for support.

There's a recall notice for the valve issue, should be covered if ever you drop a valve. Think of it this way, if it ever happens you get a free engine!
