    2wd St Testing.

Well what I'm wondering is why it was launching slow when it wasn't tuned? It wouldn't even be close to spinning the tires. Brake torque launch i was only able to get 2300rpm at most. Wouldn't go higher.

Yeah I've seen the tire pressure, I just don't recall what it was at, I'll try lowering the pressure seeing how much it helps.

I didn't do no changes, guessing it's 35psi from dealer.

So then went and got a tune from a local tuner, on 93 octane. He did ask how aggressive I wanted it, since he knows it's my wife's daily. He kept it mild. Now on the tune I can't brake launch because tires get loose. Before the tune, it wouldn't spin the tires with traction control off...

Soo I don't know if I mentioned the St is a 2wd version. And let me tell ya'll after testing and getting the numbers, I regret not spending the extra $8k+ lol. Tried a few brake torque launch, on 87 octane 1/4 mile - 14.04@ 100.0 0-60mph - 5.79s

Thank you. I do have a background of racing. I swapped a 6.0L into a S10 blazer xtreme in 2009. Ran it for a bit and then had kids and it's been sitting in my backyard waiting for refreshed engine. Forged and honed 364ci to 365ci. Been collecting parts for a while. Have a 88mm bullseye...

whoosh motorsports high flow catted downpipes

Why not? Why go the trouble of fabbing a 3" downpipe to bottle neck at the end of it? Maybe it's plenty of flow with that reducer, or even 2.5". Just my .2 cents. Downpipe looks great btw, welds look clean.

I like the idea of staying 3" all the way without reducers. Just a thought.

Hello I'm from South Texas, and just purchased a 22' explorer ST. Traded in my wife's Yukon Denali last year and got her a K5 for the meantime, year later and almost traded the k5 for a Stinger, but having 4 kids I knew we needed the extra space. When I seen the ST had 400hp I was hooked. And...

whoosh motorsports high flow catted downpipes

Are they designed to work with the stock mid pipes? Asking because of the reducers at the end of the pipes. I liked the idea of having the option of removing the reducers like spd's (I believe they were spd) Would be a nice touch. Will whoosh also be fabbing mid pipes?
