There's not much to explain. They're both plastic drain plugs. One's one time use/disposable, one's not.

Guess the costs of new drain plugs every oil change started adding up.

You'll never get a consensus on a canned tune here because they're all the same. If that's what you want, then go for it, but a canned tune is no safer or easier to manage than a tune from ZFG or Goosetuned.

The range can decrease just sitting at a stop light. A few minutes of highway driving with the cruise on and the range will increase. It goes up and down based on the PCM predicting what the fuel economy will be based on the current driving behavior.

Been monitoring the battery health lately as I want to hard wire my dash cam one of these days and don't want to end up with a dead battery. I was pretty concerned to see the State Of Charge for the battery was ~50% every time I checked. Alternator was putting out upwards of 70amps at start...

They let in more particles than other filters too. A lot of race cars don't even run filters.

Sport mode 100% of the time. Went on a 100 mile round trip drive this past weekend, bumped it up to almost 15 MPG.
