Beefing Up Transmission - Torque Converter Question

I'm running an E50 tune on my '21 with 47k miles. I've been having 3rd gear slipping issues since I installed the E50 tune. I checked the fluid and wasn't low but I topped off to the max for our trans. Still having slipping issues, only in thrid gear. When I go full throttle in third gear it...

2024 Ford Explorer Interior Spotted for the First Time

The Black wheels on the link photos remind me of the Porsche 997 Turbo wheels in a good way.

    EBC Greens and Rotors

I can't find fitment for an Explorer ST. You sure they are made for us yet?

Can anyone provide photos of Ford Accesories Dual Hood Decal?

If I had to guess, he bought a used ST without the factory-installed letters. First thing I did when I bought mine was remove those letters. They snag so bad.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Started a new job and haven't had time to catch up until now. I decided to just replaced the battery and in the process I noticed that the two cables on the positive-side distribution block, closest to the front of the vehicle, are mounted to a separate piece of metal that simply sits on top of...

Best Explorer ST 2022 exhaust just bought today

I've had the Gibson axle-back and upgraded to the Thermal 2.5" last week because the tips on the Gibson were impossible to allign. I love the Thermal 2.5" sound. I hear the 3" inch is considerably louder which is why I went with the 2.5". It's quiet at cruising and really opens up under throttle.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Well, same issue(s) is back. Dash lit up, no power steering. It didn't leave me stranded this time as I was able to make it home but of course all the Ford dealerships around don't have any loaners vehicles and their service schedules are booked weeks or months out.

    Switched to Thermal 2.5"

I bought the Gibson axle-back earlier in the year but when I saw the Lethal Performance "Black Friday" sale going on, I couldn't pass on the Thermal R&D 2.5" price. Delivery only took three days and I installed it last night in about an hour and a half in my drive with the rear up on ramps. It's...

Love my 2022 ST but why are so many publication reviews trashing the Explorer?

Same here. Couldn't justify spending that much on a new truck. The ST will fill the void until I can find a used truck that I want for a reasonable price. I do love my ST though.

anyone running a 285/45/21 on street pack rims?

Installed my spacers and 285/45R-21 Vredestein Quatrac Pros and it looks so much better than the factory setup, IMO. Ready for this Colorado winter. Need to install springs soon.

anyone running a 285/45/21 on street pack rims?

Tried to have 285/45R-21 Vredestein Quatrac Pros installed today at Big O and they said they are certain the tires will rub the front struts without spacers. I've had Bora spacers sitting in my garage for 8 months now, so I guess it's finally time to install them.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

I flew up to North Platte Nebraska Thursday morning and picked her up. Service writer called me on Wednesday and said it was ready. When I asked what they did to fix it finally, he said they had to replace a front right parking sensor and a battery cable was loose. They said that was the problem...

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Thanks. I'm at the 48th stage of grief, or whatever. I'm just being patient and trying not to be a hassle to the service writer and one tech at the dealership. I limit my calls to twice a week just for updates and my fingers are crossed that they figure it out soon.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Day 31 and still nothing. My consumer affairs case manager called on Friday and said they have no update other than the tech is still working with the ford technical specialist. I can tell from the Ford app they started my ST and let it run for a while based off the fuel level but mileage hasn't...
