FS SOLD- Whipple Intercooler & Steeda Springs

First engine had bad cam phasers, 2nd failed in under 2K miles by burning oil and it was found all the valve seals were leaking, and the 3rd was having the same issues as the first one in less than 1K miles. After 8+ months at the dealer last year I was done.

FS SOLD- Whipple Intercooler & Steeda Springs

Hello All, After multiple engines in my ST I decided not to deal with it anymore and Ford bought it back. I haven't been in it since March of 23 and removed some parts and I'm finally getting around to selling them. Local (Phoenix, AZ) would be ideal to not deal with shipping, but shipping is...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

The driver side turbo does seem to the common cause of this now, with people being all set after it's replaced. Hopefully that is the case for you as well. I am another story and have engine #2 (this year) along with both turbos being replaced this time, I might actually get it back today...

    It just never ends...

Just like others I had been experiencing smoke on cold starts which started after an engine replacement earlier this year. The dealer had another ST in the shop for the exact same issue and came to the conclusion that it was the drivers turbo on that one as well (like it has been going for most)...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

It is really strange that only the drivers side seems to be the cause of this issue. Maybe there is a slight design difference in the driver and pass side turbos that is causing this?

    Smoking on startup after sitting

What I have been doing is actually referring to this forum and others telling my dealer that there are more and more people having this problem (also confirmed by the Ford hotline getting more calls about it) and the fix so far has been drivers side turbo replacement. I always try to provide the...

    Smoking on startup after sitting

I'm surprised they got the engine replacement approved for just that. It took a lot of hotline calls and a ford field service tech to approve that part on mine when they did it. Maybe suggest the drivers side turbo be replaced and see what they come back with.

    Smoking on startup after sitting

Honestly I'm not surprised (but tried to be hopeful for you). When they do an engine replacement it's just the long block and nothing that bolts to it. So the turbos (which the drivers side replacement seems to be fixing this problem) would have been transferred to the new engine, just like...

    Inaccurate MPG Adjustment

That number rings a bell, I think that's what a few of the posts I found ended up on as well. With my last tank I came to 925 so might have to adjust that again.

    Smoking on startup after sitting

I'd call you lucky on that one. Mine started having this issues after an engine replacement. My dealer is ordering the drivers side turbo to replace now. They have another ST in the shop right now for the same problem as well and found it to be the drivers side turbo. It's a waiting game for...

    Inaccurate MPG Adjustment

Nothing that I found as I was searching for the MPG stuff.

I totally thought you were being serious.

    Inaccurate MPG Adjustment

If you aren't comfortable changing anything no one will force you to do so. All this is doing is adjusting the MPG calculation making it more accurate. There are lots of posts on Mustang, F150, and Edge forums about this and no one has said "IT BROKE MY CAR", only "Hey, the MPG is finally...

    Inaccurate MPG Adjustment

Not sure if this has been posted before, or maybe I just wasn't searching for the right terms. But thought I would post it for anyone else that wants to adjust the MPG in the cluster if it's off like mine was. I'll check the accuracy over the next couple tanks after changing mine, but it started...
