Windshield image

I have not seen this mentioned before. Ford always places a small decal on the inside windshield passenger side. I normally remove that right away but delayed this time because I liked the Explorer drawing on it. When I finally removed it I found the drawing is not part of the decal but is part of the windshield dark material used along all the edges.

There's one on the cargo area handle to access the storage compartment under the floor.

Not on my 2022. Plain access handle with felt like material on one side and unfinished on the other. I told my salesman about this a while back and he switched one from a 2020 rental on the lot. Another missing item on the 2022's.

My 2022 has it on both sides of the cargo handle. The hard surface side had a large very sticky label on it I had to remove.

Regarding the Explorer decal on windshield (lower passenger side). Our daughter needs a new windshield - and she wants the Ford OEM with the Explorer decal. If she specifies a Ford OEM, will the decal be on the windshield? Thanks for any advice….

I can't answer that for the Explorer but we just had one replaced on our daughter's 2022 Escape. It had the Escape image on the original windshield. We ordered a Ford OE replacement and it came with the "Sound" image of OE glass but did not include the Escape image. I wish you better luck.

When my 2021 was delivered, it did not have that imagine on the windshield. After a crack, it was replaced with an OEM windshield that does have that image.

I am purchasing a 2020 and the windshield has been replaced. Mine does not have that sticker either, has anyone found a replacement or a similar version someone has made to put there?

I have a 2020 ford explorer police interceptor did not have the logo before but recently had to replace the windshield and my new glass has the logo on the bottom passenger side corner

Funny…after many trips in the passenger seat, my wife noticed the logo the other day.
