They have tried to fix it twice on mine with no success. Last time, even though under warranty, they charged me $40 and it still was not fixed. So much for the update…. When it happens, you have to push it closed.
Follow the how2 on how to deactivate your foot-activation. I bet it's related. Since doing that, I have had no random openings, partial opening or closings.
My 2021 Platinum did the exact same thing yesterday.
Then I realized my key fob was in the tool bag that I had just placed in the back. Once I removed my fob from the tool bag and put it in my pocket it worked perfectly.
