I apologize for this being my first post and not contributing more. I've only recently purchased an ST and have been sifting through the forum since waiting on my purchase to arrive, but I have a feeling there's a problem with the shipping...….

So I recently found an all black 2021 ST "In transit" to a local dealer. I went into the dealer on 6/2/21 to check on the delivery ETA. I was told it was to be delivered on 6/12/21. I went ahead and signed papers then to secure it (very few ST's in my area given the current situation). Fast forward to the 14th and no delivery. Called the dealer and was told the 15th. It's currently the 21st and I've yet to take delivery. The dealership barely gives me updates, I have to call them. They give me the typical, "sometimes these things take awhile" or "it should be here any day". I've called Ford Customer Care and they can't provide me with any info because it's a dealer stock order. I somehow managed to get someone at Ford to tell me its on a Railyard in Ontario. The thing that has me worried the most after doing some digging is the build date was 3/08/21 and was shipped out 3/18/21. It's been over 3 months in shipping and the dealership doesn't think this is a problem, and somehow does not know the exact location or may not even give a damn. Aside from holding my salesman hostage, I've beat down every path only to find dead ends.

Long story short, do we have an inside man here w/ Ford who can actually track the location of the vehicle by VIN and know where it is currently? Any help would get my wife off my back, hahaha.

Thanks in advance.

My Dealer could tell me exactly where mine was. It did sit in a rail yard for a week in Wyoming but he could give me a print out and show me progress. If you've paid for or made a down payment on your vehicle it's the least they can do.

Agreed. It’s a damn shame you have to beg people to do their job these days.

There are good car sales folks, that care about you after they make the sale, and then there are guys that couldn't care less if they saw you again once they have your signature. Sounds like this guy is the latter.
