So I signed up for a track day on the 14th to take my C5Z to... I had the rear end rebuilt and the new gears were whiny so the shop is re-doing them and dragging their asses about it... so I might not have the C5Z back together in time... My buddies are suggesting I still go but run the ST so I am not out the $300 the track day cost...

Anybody had their ST out on a track before? 20 minute sessions I believe is what we will be running on a 3.1 mile course. Im in the novice group and will have an instructor so wont be pushing anything to hard.

Im wondering what over heats first...

oil or transmission...

Don't know which track you were going to, but I'd love to run at Eagles Canyon, Decatur, Tx. Won a bunch there over the years, and this thing would be fun through turns 7, 8, 9, 10.

Msr cresson... Pretty bummed I can't go. Latest theory on my vette rear end is a bent/warped/tweaked housing so I have a replacement used housing coming...

Eagles canyon got completely rebuilt and a bunch of turns changed up 2 years ago. I've had a few buddies go run it and they said it's fantastic.

Took mine to Dominion Raceway near Fredericksburg last month on my way to Quantico for work training. It was a lot of fun, 2 mile track with plenty of straight and twisty’s. I do plan on returning sometime with my wife’s Mercedes AMG GT before she sells it… not the 300,000$ version, just the poor girl version.
