Good afternoon all! Been buy Fords for years. First Explorer though. Just picked up a 2026 ST in the carbonized grey with the Street Package. Had an explorer for a police vehicle for a few years and loved it.

Greeting All,
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Charlie, and I drove off the lot today in my 2025 Explorer ST in Carbonized Gray with about 25,000 miles. It's the closest thing I've had to a brand new car since I bought my truck in 1989, a truck I still have today. Since 2015 my road trip / long haul car as been a 2012 Taurus SHO, I love that car but she's getting a little long in the tooth and a few too many miles for long trips so she's going into a back up status and maybe get a few more mods down the road. For now I have no big plans for the ST, I haven't had a warranty on anything since 1989 so I don't want to mess it up, for the near future no down pipes or tunes for me. I am thinking about a AEW Exhaust and would love any feedback or suggestions. Like my SHO I've found the speakers seem to get a little harsh when you turn up the radio, I replaced the stock speakers in my SHO with Focal's but in looking around the cabin of the ST it looks like replacing speakers might be close to open hart surgery. Again if anyone has any insight I'm all ears. I know all the information is out there and I'm going to dig into the threads when I get a chance but since I have your attention I thought I'd ask. I was pretty active on the SHO Forum for a long time and got a lot of help from a lot of great people, and hopefully helped some people myself.

I recently bought a 2026 Explorer Tremor with the Ultimate Package that comes with the 3.0 Twin Turbo ST motor. The truck is a rocket that actually goes pretty well on the beach where I live. I have had a lot of fun doing mods to it. Will be adding Steeda 1.25 " spacers this week. Added two wireless charging pads as '26 models do not have them. Oil catch can. Center console for middle row. Mats for the backs of all the seats including the middle row. In the future: Thermal 2.5" exhaust, Ford tune when available for '26 models, CAI, Steeda rear sway bar, and a black wrap for the roof (my truck is Vapor Blue Metallic) There is no active Tremor forum so I came here for advice and counsel. I hope that is OK with you guys.

Welcome, I'm not a moderator, just another new owner, but I'm sure everyone is welcome here, sounds like you have a lot planned do you have any plans for the stereo system, I think that will be my first upgrade. I'm surprised you don't have a wireless charging pad, is that a 2026 thing or a Tremor thing because there worried your phone might go flying around and hit someone in the head. I have the ST and my phone has already tried to make it's way to the back of the truck just form my rapid acceleration.

I think all '26 models lost the wireless charger as they got too hot. I added two wireless pads from Amazon and a lighter socket with two USB C inputs which works great. The phones stay planted on the rubber pads. The USB and USB C inputs in the front do not work well at all but the lighter does. I have the B&O system which was part of the Ultimate Package so no complaints with the stereo. BTW I do love it when I go down the road and everyone pulls to the right to let the "cop car" go by.

That's interesting because my phone always seems to be cold when I put it there, that being said it really does not seem to charge that well, anyway thanks for the information, and again congratulations.

Not totally sure why FORD is constantly changing things around with the ST appointments/accessories/upgrades. I know mine is not the same (Job 2, 5 Dec 2024 Mrgr date) as the 2025 Job 1 vehicles.
