May be selling the wife's explorer ST, as i'm tired of hearing about having a car payment again(even though its 0%).
Has all the mods you want to do with them, AWE exhaust, CF intercooler and mid pipes(stock Dp and cats), Stabilizer bar, ceramic coated at dealer, AFE intake, etc. Have the ZFG tune and handheld but never installed. 1,300 miles.
I know they say mods, don't add any value, and some say they add 50% of cost.
Is an every option blk/blk. Sticker was 62+.
Do I just list for whatever kbb says for private party?
Thanks
D

Not sure what direction you are going but you are going to take a hit from selling a newer ST, including all the extra dollars you spent on mods.

Honestly you’re going to take a huge hit, KBB is a good reference. I’d sell the mods separately as you’d get more for them. They wouldn’t add value to the car itself.

I would demod as much as you reasonably can. Understandably some will be a giant PITA.

For me as a buyer, if there were two vehicles in the same spec, same miles and condition, but one was stock and one was modded....I would buy the stock one. Other will have a different opinion.

I don't think you can sell the ZFG tune, but I'm not sure. Man you are all the way in when it comes to mods, are you sure you wanna/have to sell.

Unless I knew the vehicle, or was a friend that helped install the mods, I too would take the unmodified car. I wouldn't pay a dime more for them. That said, there are people out there that will. You're going to take a bath selling a 25 in the same year, but the mods make it all the more painful if you leave them on.
