Karr is a promoted as a profit center for dealers. That’s why I suggested to check the CONTRACT.

Sorry for the late response. I do not have that ST any longer. When I bought the ST it was not on the lot but was a dealer trade. The dealer where the ST came from installs the KARR securith to ALL the vehicals on thier lot. Doesn't matter if you want it or not, it's installed. It was a week or two until I noticed the little control button. I did some research and discovered that the little buton was for. I contacted my dealer and asked what the little button was for and theye didn't know. The called the dealer where the ST came from and was told about the KARR system was installed there. This was not disclosed to my dealer so they had no idea what the little button was for. Because they didn't know they couldn't disclose to the the installation to me. The KARR system is spliced directly into the main wiring harness under the dash. This voids any factory warranty according to Ford Factory Warranty Support. So if the KARR system installation causes any damage to the ST I had no protection from Ford. Warranty maintenance would only come the dealer where there ST came from where it was installed. So I asked my dealer if I was traveling cross country and had smoke coming from under the dash, what were they going to do for me. They quickly responed that the best thing they could do for me was to trade me out of that ST with another exact replacement ST.
That is why my local dealer does not install any third after market accessories.
