Hey yall,

Traded my 17 XLT and got a 25 ST and have been loving it. I use to have a feature I enabled called Dark Car which allowed me to dim my gauges and screen while all my lights were off at night.

I have tried to duplicate it on my ST with FORscan but to no avail. I was just curious if anyone got this feature to work or not.

This isn’t available on the Explorer Spreadsheet so I wanted to throw it in here.

I like to idle my car during the night while hanging out with people and i’d like to not to be blinded and also be left alone.

You can manually dim the interior displays and backlighting using the headlight control panel. Additionally, you can enable Silent mode in the BCM and APIM using Forscan, which will give you a "Silent Mode" option in Sync under vehicle settings. Silent mode disables all exterior lighting/most interior lighting when the ignition is turned off. That's about the closest you'll get with what you've described.
