Has anyone used one of these? Seems like a good way to be able to wash the roof but I wonder if the latch and door frame are capable of supporting my weight. Could be a disaster waiting to happen!

That’s a bad idea. Friend of mine had something like that, scratched the latch area and even dented the area. Just get a step stool.

I have a short step ladder that I use now. I’ll stick with that. I think this is a hard pass!

We have one in the house, used it on the grand Cherokee often with the Thule as well as my petite daughter and her Rogue. Never an issue.
