I have a 2020 and I'm planning a FBO build. Is it necessary to upgrade the factory BOV? Can it adequately handle the increased boost pressure after it's tuned, or should I just put on a VTA adapter and call it good? Thanks

I wouldn’t trust the oem bypass valve but adding just a vta adapter is doing just that. You’d still be relying on it staying closed under boost.

Thanks for the response. That's exactly what I needed to know. I'm not opposed to upgrading, I just didn't want to throw money at it if it was just for the sound. I'll definitely be upgrading, then
