Explorer number 5

Like my ID implies, I'm on Explorer number 5! The only vehicle I've owned more are Mustangs - 9 of them!

Anyway, Hello from NJ. I just traded my '22 Timberline for a '25 ST in Rapid Red. The Timberline was fun but I missed the performance of the Sport.....now known as ST.

Just a little history, My Explorer ownership went like this: Sport Trac, Sport, Sport, Timberline, ST.

2025 ST, Rapid Red, Job 2, NO Sun Roof (bone stock except for K&N Engine Air filter and MRT H-Pipe/Resonator Delete). My first and only Explorer.

(4) Mustangs: 2010 GT Premium Conv; 2016 GT Premium Conv (converted to Shelby GTE); 2017 VP Premium Conv; and 2017 I-4 Ecoboost Premium Coupe (converted to Shelby GTE). Prior to that a 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero 66H Deluxe

I would LOVE to have no sunroof! I never use them. I think the no sunroof ones are probably pretty rare.

"Explorer 5":
Rare is probably the correct word for it; I hate the sun roofs and the problems they can cause. In Dec 2024, I used Ford.com website and set the range to 500 miles radius of Sacramento. My ST was built on Dec 5th after Ford did it's mfgr production upgrade around Thanksgiving time. It was the only one either currently on a lot or on the train westbound from Chicago Assembly Plant. I told the dealer in Folsom that found it for me I would take any color he found but NO black.
