As we pour more and more money into our vehicles with new wheels, tires, one of exhaust, turbos, etc. are folks getting supplemental insurance or will the agencies like American Family, State Farm cover the upgrades we are making if something bad happens to the vehicle?

Good luck with that! You might find someone to do a custom rider but you're going to have to have documentation, bills, etc, and the cost will most likely be prohibitive.

GENERALLY a policy will cover like $2500 of aftermarket stuff included... So if you have more, you need to talk to your agent.

Its usually very minimal cost. I think I had 15k in aftermarket coverage on a built up Subaru I had years ago and it was like 40 bucks a year added on to my policy...

Shit I just got a million dollar liability umbrella for 300 bucks a year.
