Someone tell me I'd be crazy to not delete the FADA

With the FADA delete, what's the protocol on using the spare tire? Am I understanding TSB 23-2174 correctly that AWD will always be engaged? Doesn't that contradict the current protocol on using a spare tire -- 'drive slowly until computer disengages AWD.'

I recently got a flat and put the spare on to drive a couple miles and the 4wd off message came on screen. So either the system is dumb and fooled or it actually disconnected. Also the graphic 4wd display doesn't always AWD just rear drive unless under hard acceleration.

My understanding is that it disables automatically. Had same thing happen when I used spare. As soon as tire went back on the system cleared after a couple miles of driving.

I don’t even have a spare…I’m deleting it soon. Mine is leaking anyway so I might as well get rid of the whole thing.
