TPMS Question

2021 Explorer ST, TPMS sensor fault on same wheel came on randomly for about 2 months. Now it stays on all the time (same wheel every time)
I bought the Ford Motorcraft TPMS sensor from my local Ford Dealer. When I take it to a tire shop to have it installed does anything have to be
programmed or will it learn the vehicle and wheel location by itself? Thanks

Nothing needs to be programmed. That said, if one of yours is going down, it's not a fluke. They will all start to fail. I would buy four sensors and have them installed. If I knew that they started failing after 5 years, I would have installed new ones when I got new tires.
