Hello all,

Regularly driving back and forth between Allentown PA and the Toronto area. Winters these years make it barely worth changing to snow tires, but y'know, I regularly drive through Buffalo. I'm thinking about replacing the stock Pirellis with snow-rated All seasons when their time is up. I *think* there are Cross Climate 2's available in the right size for my '22 ST. Anyone have experience with these or similar on the ST?

Hmmm - after posting this I found the other threads about the Pirelli WeatherActive tires. Nice.

We’ve been using Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV tires.
Considered Blizzak tires but the Nokians are a winter tire full tread, unlike the Blizzaks that are best to only 50% tread.
21 inch tires are pricey and not a lot of options. So we downsized our winters to the other ST tire size of 255/50R20. Just found more options & better prices going down to 20 inch or up to 22 inch.
The Nokian R3’s have since been replaced by R5’s an updated version.
Very happy with the R3’s. They preform well, have excellent snow & ice grip. Are predictable in operation - will feel when your beyond their limits of traction unlike some older Michelin X-ice2 tires I had on a 4Runner that would just completely loose grip without warning - they were scary.
