Spare Tire Well

Anyone add any dynamat type material down there yet? I did it on our 2010 Edge and my 2016 Chevy SS sedan and it made a pretty big difference. I know there is that piece of insulation directly below the tire there doesn't look like much else back there to help with the noise.

Someone on FB said it made a big difference... Honestly I thought my ST was reasonably quiet as it was.

Question: How do you open that cover over the spare? Is there a strap or a finger groove/cutout to lift it up with?
