Title says it all. Had a 2020, pampered that car. Oil changes regularly, premium fuel, etc. It had numerous issues. Transmission, backup camera, software bugs the works. I loved the power and the looks but hated the reliability. Went to a bmw x3 m50 and its a great car but we miss the comfort of the explorer st and size.
Any word on if the 2026s have fixed any of those major issues? Any advice from 2025 guys and gals would be appreciated. Considering getting back into the explorer ST AWD with the 2026 model. Im overseas in Germany, we had our last one in italy and no one would work on it, including the Ford dealer near me because its a U.S. specific model. Now, in Germany, I think we would have better support but id love for it not to break in the first 15k miles. Any advice or insight from the forums would be appreciated.
