I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so figured I would ask.

Has anyone run new wire into their door? If so, how did you get past the wire harness plugs? I was looking yesterday while installing deadning and running my wire through the channels. I noticed the plugs and my first thought was, "crap, can't anything be easy?" I didn't look at the front doors, but I am assuming they are the same.

I only need a single run of 16awg, so I don't need much clearance. Any tips and tricks that have already been figured out would be helpful.

Did you have to drill the connector or did you just push the connector through? I've only briefly looked at it, I haven't messed with it yet, so I am unsure how it's secured or put together.

Looking at this back door, I don't see how it can be done without modification. There are plenty of open pins, I'll just drill the unused large pin on the Grey molex. I only need to open it a little bit. 20221227_112819.jpg 20221227_112749.jpg

Front is different, it has a wide open spot like you said. 20221227_113801.jpg

Got the wire run in the rear doors. Drilling was too much of a hammer and tried to crack the molex connector. So I switched to using flush cutters and a hot exacto knife. 20221227_112819.jpg 20221227_152627.jpg 20221227_152705.jpg
