Buy a can of spray rubber in black

If you want to see how something will look blacked out, spray on and let dry. If you hate it, you can just peel it off.

Tape off the area around it, spray and let dry.

You can leave it too, lasts a long time. I did it on my old FJ Cruiser.

I've seen a channel on YouTube that does this to entire cars. Kinda cool you can change your car's color, and when you're bored of it, pull it off and paint it another color. And, believe me, some of those look super nice cause you can still get a glossy look to it. I wish I could remember the channel, but I think you'll find them if you search for plastidipped cars or similar.
