Rear Diff Recall question...

Good afternoon everyone. This is my first post here, so be gentle. I am quite active on the ST FB pages, but figured I'd drop some questions here and interact on another platform. I have a 2022 Forged Green Metallic ST that I bought in July of last year with under 19k on the odo. I just crested 25,000 and things have gone fairly well (for the most part).

I had the rear diff bolt recall performed last year at the dealer, and all has seemed well, until I looked at the work yesterday (shame on me, I know).

To me, the bushing is incorrectly installed. I've gotten 50/50 responses on Facebook, so I'm looking for advice. Also - does this bushing even look "new"? To me to color looks original and faded....

I contacted the service guy today but I don't want to get dragged around by the dealer. Any advice is appreciated.

Doesn't matter about the looks. That is the correct mount. The center metal part of the bushing is solid. Everything in that picture looks fine. What you should be looking at is where the axle inserts as some have had oil leakage after the recall.

Thank you for your reply. Every other bushing i've seen online has the tabs clocked to 3 and 9 and 12 and 6 - this one is canted. I assumed it had to be correctly positioned in order to "function" correctly under load...
