It's time for new tires and I'm going to go with the Michelin PS4's. If I wanted to go with a 275-50-21 rather than the original 275-45-21 on stock Ford 21's will it make any difference other than the aesthetics?

Some difference in odometer/speedometer. There's probably about an inch difference in height which would translate into roughly a 3% speedometer change. Of course, vehicle height change will only change half that. This can create other issues (MPG monitor will change etc.) but I'm guessing you may not notice too much. Having said all that, I'd probably just stick to a tire that is the same height given the option.

It will also reduce your effective gear ratio…so it’ll slow it down some.
