There's got to be people drag racing with 3 bolts.
The more people that respond in the affirmative, the more quickly we can begin to dispel the "3 bolt is to weak" claim.

Thanks.

Really? Not a single person with a 3 bolt is/has drag raced their ST?

I have, but not at an official drag strip. I made about a dozen runs on my favorite road down in Mexico. On a side note, I just had the recall done this past Monday and they inspected everything and it all checked out.

I have been hesitant to totally beat on my ST in the past because of the 3 bolt fiasco. Now that I'm good to go the tune is going in next week and some flogging will commence.

There's got to be a few hundred thousand 3 bolter's out there, hard to believe at least no stock one's have made a few laps down the quarter.

I'm not stock, but I'm not heavily modded either.

I went to the track a couple times last year and probably only had a total of 10 or so runs. Car just had a intercooler and 94 tune. Runs mid 12’s.

I have logged many launches on the street though for my own tune and two other tuners tunes. I have a AWR brace in it now.

I will be going once it cools down some. I don't like going to the track in the middle of Summer.

I'd say a 93 tune/whipple/springs/sway bar definitely leans towards heavily modded.

So with all your mods and running 12's, your 3 bolt held up. Good to know!

Me neither. Racing in the heat always leaves you wondering "What would I have run in better DA?"

I live in South Louisiana so the DA is already pretty low. However its not so much the hope for better time, I just hate sitting in the heat when the humidity is high...sweating like crazy.

A tune and an intercooler is not much. The springs/sway bar does not effect power output so I would not consider them in this discussion.

When a 93 tune adds 100+hp, that is significant. Adding springs/sway bar shows the overall level of upgrades.

Man I can't stand Britney. Actually I despise all pop music.
Pop music is like any other category of music, there's some good stuff and some not so great stuff.

Heat and humidity kill DA. Maybe you meant to say your track elevation was low?

Here is a great link for track DA's:

Maybe it’s the hot rodder in me but has anyone tried solid mounts and drilling a hole for the fourth bolt? Works on the corvette IRS.
