Nice thing about the black and white models is they get confused as cop cars all the time. Works great on highway, everyone moves out of the way, especially if you flash lights.

Sucks on city streets because everyone slows down to a crawl.

This has been suggested in a few threads over the last year, but I have a '20 white model and haven't noticed any reaction at all. Perhaps in a different state/region?

I have black, and out FL state troopers are black/brown

Street cop cars are typically white in Florida.

I can usually pick out the cop ones, the bull bar on the front helps.

False perception improves if you have cross braces with foam protectors with the roof rails. Large grill guard helps also!

True or boards and kayaks. Those large black foam pieces on the cross members get mistaken for police vehicle roof lights.

From distant views, the white models can be perceived as a cop SUV and there is a noticeable difference in driver behavior until the vehicle comes closer into view.

I live in Germany now but moving back to Florida soon. Looking forward to causing a few elevated heart rates when pulling behind someone. I know the feeling for sure.

Excellent, not quite neighbors, but close enough.
Up until this cooties craziness, I used to go to Germany pretty much every winter for ADAC Supercross races in Stuttgart, Chemnitz, Munich and Dortmund.....didn't go to Chemnitz much...yuk

I like it over there, prefer Netherlands....love Eindhoven.

Good luck trying to stretch your truck's legs around here.....got to find empty back roads

One of the pros of owning a white ST is that it shows dust and dirt less than a black one. :)

Black looks terrible up close all the time. My only regret, but still love it

Where I live, hard to see a white one during a blizzard.
