I’m looking at a a 2020 Explorer, really like the truck but have a few things the dealer need to iron out before purchase. I looked under truck and saw a hose sitting on bottom side of engine cradle area that wasn’t connected on one end. Service not running so couldn’t get on a lift to check; maybe a diff vent, behind steering rack about 4 inches? I’m a dummy and didn’t snap a picture though.
Note: I also looked at another on lot while there, it’s in the area where splash guard covers. The truck I’m looking was open so that particular cover has been moved or cut back.

Negative, was a 1/4-5/16 id hose had a 90° about 3 inches from end. Didn’t have a clamp on the loose end.

I believe this is it, googled part and the addition of “breather” brought up better results for me. Thanks @WaferTech
