Tomorrow morning we leave for Asheville to do the Ford Performance SUV driving school. Very excited, can’t wait. I drove a 67 mustang in high school 289 4 speed 411 gears. I loved that car which also got me into a lot of trouble. I love classic cars with hp. I grew up and into loving mopar automobiles. I have a 73 Plymouth Cuda that is going to be my retirement project. So in the past years we have owned a Kia Sorento v6. Was pretty peppy for what it was. We traded it after 5 years for a jeep cherokee trailhawk which we still own. I love the jeep but my wife and I wanted an suv with more power. So we have been looking and dreaming for 2 years. We had pretty much decided on an Explorer St as what we liked but when we saw this vapor blue st on the lot we feel in love. So this is pretty much the car of our dreams. I would love to in the near future put a thermal 3” exhaust on it where you can hear it when you press the go pedal. The fake engine noise does not cut it for me. I’m used to header mufflers and race mufflers. Call me old school if you want but my ram Cummins is straight piped and I love it when pulling our camper. We use the explorer st to pull our golf cart on camping trips. IMG_0298.jpeg

Welcome Aboard!

We just got back from the Utah ST SUV Driving Experience School. The Instructors said "Drive it like you stole it, it's our car, our gas and your time"!! It was outstanding; my Wife drove all the events but she especially liked the "Washing Machine" aka Skid Pan used to simulate wet road conditions on a dry surface.
