Found this little button and light thing attached to my car........

Hey everyone,

I wanted to post this here because I’ve been trying to figure out what this thing is, and I can’t seem to find any info anywhere.

It’s located right next to the fuse box under the steering wheel on the driver’s side.

Here’s the funny part — I found the button, pressed it (of course), and suddenly my auto start/stop feature came back on.

I’m thinking it might be some kind of auto start/stop eliminator, but if that’s the case, I’m not sure how to reactivate it since it doesn’t seem to be working anymore.

I’ll attach a few photos for reference.

Looks like a crappy dealer installed security system to me, but based on what you said it sounds like an auto stat stop eliminator.
