My 2022 doesn’t get driven much but I noticed gear oil at rear on garage floor. My buddy is an ase master tech and doesn’t have the back problem I have so he crawled under it. The rear diff cover has some rtv hanging out from diff cover and there is definitely gear oil slow dripping from rear.
I have never pulled the rear diff cover. And doubt the original owner did with only 30k miles when I got it. It has 35k now Almost a year later.
curious if they pull the cover when they replace the single bolt for the recall????

gonna ask the dealer about it. But closest dealer I trust is 45+ min’s drive. Want more knowledge before I drive down.
any input would help. Thanks.

no

Edit: change my mind. if they see any damage to the cover, they are supposed to replace it.
