Any Canada specific recall advice? Or tune notes?

Taking the ST in for a routine and also the recall notice (in BC if it matters). I'm aware of the "fix" for the recall -- just wondering if there is any angle here? Any magic words I need to say to get treated better or we're all just getting the same non-fix fix?

Also has anyone asked about the tune in Canada? If not I will ask when I'm in.

I asked my local dealership in Kamloops about the Ford Tune when it first came out and they had no clue about it. I had to give them the part number for them to be able to look into it. So I really didn't talk to them much about it.
We have extend warranty and I'd like to be able keep it in tact the best way so I think we will go the FP tune route In the spring. Hate that a guy has to go through the dealership for install though as I'd rather do it myself. I don't trust people is my problem lol.
