I noticed that if I connect android auto, the Ford navigation system becomes unavailable in the Sync 3. Is this normal? Thanks.

Yes, I think the intent is that you'll be using a nav app via Android Auto (e.g. Google maps, waze, etc.).

Thanks, but android auto can be used for more things then a navigation system. Quite a stupid intent from Ford

the Navigation feature as well as voice commands for sync are not available with Andriod auto. everything else is available to be used
