Oh wow, that sucks. I was hoping to get a VIN much sooner.
Yeah just looked on the ol Google.. Currently production is slated for May 13th. So in theory we could have a VIN that week or before I think but from my last custom order experience it will be some time.

I guess it’s time to stop thinking about it.
Do you have any plans for upgrades?

Exhaust will happen for sure. Then I will likely get it wrapped and if the FP tune is available that as well.

I’m thinking about a CAI and definitely the exhaust (Thermal R&D) and the FP tune! Hopefully they’ll update the site so I can see if the 2025 is compatible.

Is it me or does it seem like the Build and Price configurator price for a 2025 Explorer ST has increased over the past 2 months?

It definitely increased. I noticed it yesterday.

Wait.. are you guys saying there is a link between supply, demand and inflation? o_O Yeah, I know, first post and talking crap, sorry for that. I'm looking for a '25 to park next to my '18 Fusion Sport. It needs a friend.

Okay I'm glad I wasn't the only person that noticed.

I guess I will just hold off on ordering one until their incentives increase by the same amount as their price did in order to zero each other out.

When I ordered mine the day ordering opened for the 25', I am locked in at the order pricing at that time. Glad I ordered so early.
So I was recommending my mom to buy the 2025 Ford Explorer ST as her replacement car but the increase of $5,000 puts the MSRP of the 2025 Ford Explorer ST within $5,000 of the MSRP of the new Lexus GX550 Premium.

She really wants a Lexus. The case for the 2025 Explorer ST was really strong when the MSRP was $55,000 and actual selling price being closer to $50,000.
