I I was in the same boat, but I figured it can happen with any car. If I sold my ST I’d buy a bmw so not safer either. Failures can happen with any car and the ST has been good to me so far and so has ford with any isses I’ve had (mostly interior issues and had a axle leak) I love the car...

my ford dealer actually gave me the option of getting the recall done because they know it does not work. i got it done anyway, but I wasn't having blue screen issues to begin with other than a couple of times like 4 months ago.

My st only does that when parked uphill, but all my cars do that

Yeah once I read this post I searched it up and found the other cases. I got 30k on my exploder so ima def look into a sort of extended warranty cause my b2b ended last month so I just got the powertrain left rn

15k for an engine replacement is crazy. Thats diesel prices iirc. The white smoke def should’ve been dealt with when it was noticed. If they wrote it up when you told them about it you might have a chance, but that’s crazy

Not to sure about the Parking brake thing. My st is a 2020 and never did the auto parking brake. I heard about a recall going out to the 3 bolt explorers though.

Did that fix it? My explorer didn’t get the emergency brake update because it’s a two bolt I think. Might try to get them to take that update off if possible

I started having issues with my camera after they preformed the software camera recall on my explorer lmao. Now I’m getting it constantly when it was never an issue before….

Yeah, hopefully they figure out a fix soon cause the only way I’ve been able to fix the issue is turning the vehicle off and on….

I had the recall done on my 2020 and since it was done issues started happening with my cameras 360 went grey today and no rear parking assist available

Just adding an update: local dealer called me in the morning and stated that the cowl wasn’t seated correctly because it had warped and that’s why water was entering the foot area. They’re replacing the part under warranty.
