    my ford dealer actually gave me the option of getting the recall done because they know it does not work. i got it done anyway, but I wasn't having blue screen issues to begin with other than a couple of times like 4 months ago.

    15k for an engine replacement is crazy. Thats diesel prices iirc. The white smoke def should’ve been dealt with when it was noticed. If they wrote it up when you told them about it you might have a chance, but that’s crazy

    Not to sure about the Parking brake thing. My st is a 2020 and never did the auto parking brake. I heard about a recall going out to the 3 bolt explorers though.

    Did that fix it? My explorer didn’t get the emergency brake update because it’s a two bolt I think. Might try to get them to take that update off if possible

    Just adding an update: local dealer called me in the morning and stated that the cowl wasn’t seated correctly because it had warped and that’s why water was entering the foot area. They’re replacing the part under warranty.
