Which Amp Channels Power Which Speakers?

As Unbroken said why the complexity? Get a Nav TV Zen a2b and required amps/dsp and speakers and get it done, all issues and problems solved. I personally bought one off ebay and saved a couple of bucks. Just make sure to test it as soon as it arrives if you do. I belive I got mine around 350...

So getting it from the speaker outputs the signal is amplified and still eqd to whatever settings the manufacturer did correct?

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

Whats the downfall of doing what he is doing vs using the interface like the pac or nav tv? Thought the purpose of the interface was to bring out a flat eq to the amps to work with and blend all the eq together?

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

From my understanding you need to buy a Interface module to convert the signal but not 100% sure if its different with the amp you plan to run. At least thats what I was told.

    ST Audio Control D-5

Called Crutchfield since it was all overwhelming or maybe I just needed someone to explain it to me over the phone. So this is what he recommended to install which i am assuming is the same as the Nav TV Zen. The pac amp pro. This whole time I thought it grabbed the signal after the amp but it...

    ST Audio Control D-5

You did the doors only? Also only using the audiocontrol for the input signal or is their another interface you are using in between?

    ST Audio Control D-5

I agree with the tuning part being a headache, not that I've tuned audio but I've tuned cars and that is a headache, but didn't think it would be that bad as from the videos I've seen they made it seem likea a pretty basic process to learn and do, it takes time yes but not super complex from...

    ST Audio Control D-5

Ok that clears things up, now if using let's just say the lc8i for now, and if i get a dsp won't the dsp take care of any issues the stock system may introduce once tuning it? I know the stock amp reduces the sound as you raise the volume which in turn will give a lower signal to the lc8i but...

    ST Audio Control D-5

Just looked it up, thats a no for me on that dsp lol you are on a whole different level over what I am trying to achieve lol As far as interface is that our only option? Also why won't something like a lc8i work? Is the nav tv strictly to get rid of the oem amp and dsp it has in it?
  16. JerryST89

    ST Audio Control D-5

See that was something I just learned yesterday. I thought this whole time the dsp took care of that. But i am now learning the interface is strictly to convert the stock system signal to something the amp or dsp can work with. Is the NAV TV Zen A2B really the best? Keep in mind I plan to run...

    ST Audio Control D-5

I've heard about this as well which is why I asked. Is Helix the go to for dsp? I just spent some solid time reading through the thread of the build you did as well as the sound deadening one. I don't plan to win awards or anything with what I want to do with the ST, but I simply want clean loud...

    ST Audio Control D-5

Morel on all doors? Any sound deadening that got done? I've heard mixed reviews on the audiocontrol experience which is why I ask. It seems like more people tend to lean towards the Helix stuff. Also are you running it from the stereo directly to the amp?

    ST Audio Control D-5

I'm recently getting back into car audio and their is a lot to catch up. Have been doing a lot of research on amps, dsp setups, speakers and sound deadening so its a lot to take in. My question is 1. How do you like the tuning process/software of the audiocontrol? 2.what speaker setup did you...
